Pet Owners
Testimonials
I first became aware of Dick White Referrals when one of my own
pet dogs was referred with a splenic tumour back in 2006/07 - with
no indication that I was anything to do with Dogs Trust. I received
excellent, caring and professional service at that time from every
member of staff that I encountered. Wanting the same level of care
and expertise for the homeless dogs on site is the reason I always
insist our vets refer to yourselves.
The practice is very good to Dogs Trust (especially Neurology)
and your customer care is outstanding. We are also very
appreciative of the generous discount offered to our charitable
organisation!

Meg and I would like to thank you and your excellent staff for
the valiant efforts made in extending the life of Delphi for
another year.
The kindness, professionalism and compassion extended to both
myself and Meg by all of your Team over the past year or so has
helped soften the impact of losing a much cherished and loved cat:
we will miss him for the forseeable future.
I will return to County Mayo in Ireland next April and scatter
his ashes at the Whin Pool on the delightful little River
Bundorragha where I first discovered him abandoned, as a scruffy 3
month old kitten.
Again, a huge thank you from us both.
Kind regards,
Bob & Meg Windsor

I am writing to you in connection with your staff, I have got to
say in the couple of months I have been coming to your animal
hospital, all your staff from the tea lady receptionist, veterinary
Surgeons in particular Victor and Giunio, are very polite and very
helpful.
Giunio carried out a massive surgery on my dog Poppy very
successful, and I cant tell you how grateful to him and his staff I
am, I also at the time was in hospital my self as me and pops where
involved in a very bad car crash, so it was a very worrying time
for me and I was very distressed about the whole thing especially
Pops.
I would also like to express my thanks to Helen your
physiotherapist. In the couple of months of working with Pops I got
quite involved with Helen her work and her professionalism is
second to none, Pop's is a deaf dog and not very easy to work with,
I felt Helen handled her extremely well and she totally understood
her very well, without her bringing Poppy on from the operation I
really don't think she would be here with us today. Helen's whole
attitude to work is fantastic she is easy to liase with and very
understand and also very kind.
I really felt I had to bring this to your attention everybody is
very quick to complain about people, but from what I have seen you
have got a fantastic team of people working for you and you should
be very proud of them all.
Once again thank you and all your team especially Helen Giunio
and Victor.

Dear Mr White,
I am writing to express my admiration for your
establishment.
A few days before Christmas we brought our Scottie
"Greggy" to be examined as he was not responding properly to the
medication prescribed by our vet. When we arrived it was apparent
that we were in a unique friendly and caring environment, and he
was put in the care of Rachel. From the very first she approached
him with extreme gentleness and care quickly gaining his trust and
explaining in simple terms to us what she was doing and what tests
she would carry out.
Returning later to hear the results of these tests we
learnt that Greggy was in fact very ill and needed immediate
surgery to see if it was possible to help him: this she had already
arranged. Sadly later that evening she phoned during the operation
to tell us that Greggy couldn't be helped and we made the decision
to let him go.
It was a traumatic day which she handled with great care
and sensitivity so please pass on our thanks: she is a credit to
your profession and we wish her every success. I feel certain that
all your staff is of similar calibre and I thank you for
establishing such a centre of excellence: these high standards
helped a great deal when faced with the sad and unexpected
situation we found ourselves in.
Yours truly,
Colin Haysom.
