Dick White Referrals is a private veterinary referral centre that offers specialist care for small animals. The centre is staffed entirely by veterinary specialists who provide a wide range of services including Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine (including medical oncology and cardiorespiratory medicine), Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology and Neurosurgery,Oncology, Dermatology and Anaesthesia as well as having experts in Clinical Pathology.
The centre opened in 2003 and combines the most modern clinical facilities with:
- specialist only clinicians
- 24-hour staffing with vets on-site
- emergency / critical care admission service
- intensive care facilities
- state-of-the-art operating suites
- spacious climate-controlled accommodation for patients
In 2009 the centre has completed a further phase of expansion that has added:
- new wards
- further consulting areas
- a Diagnostic Imaging wing
- an Internal Medicine wing
- a new Intensive Care facility
- Clinical Pathology Laboratory
