Adam Archard: Biomedical Scientist
BSc (Hons)
Hi I'm Adam. I trained at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn whilst studying part-time at Anglia Ruskin University, where I completed a BSc honours degree in Biomedical Science. I hope to start an MSc in Biomedical science in September 2012.
I have a particular interest in haematology and haematological diseases. I am currently registered with the HPC and a member of the IBMS, I have a general interest in laboratory science and hope to continue working within the environment for the foreseeable future.
At home I enjoy cooking, playing and coaching football and spending time just relaxing with my wife Rachael and our three cats Cleo, Deliah and Peanut. So far the transition from human to animal blood has been interesting and I hope to learn lots more in the coming years.

Anne Tappin: Laboratory Technician
BSc
I have worked in the lab since 2008. I have a BSc from Bristol University and have previously worked in a mixed vet practice. I now work part time but still enjoy setting up and troubleshooting the analysers. The rest of the time is taken up by my 2 ponies and 3 dogs.

Nicole Williams: Laboratory Manager, Biomedical Scientist
BAppSc
I studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Science) at QUT in Australia. Since graduating in 2006 I have worked as a multidiscipline biomedical scientist in both private and public hospitals developing a keen interest in transfusion science before taking time off for travelling. I joined the DWR team in August of 2010.

Olga Garmory: Laboratory Technician
I have worked in laboratories since leaving school, in the fields of microbiology, haematology and biochemistry. I joined DWR in 2009 and enjoy haematology and running the lab hormone analyser. I have a cat, Jedi, who is sometimes called upon as a blood donor. I also have a young son, Josh and am currently on maternity leave expecting my second child.

Richard Eastwood: Anaesthesia Technician
Hello, I am Richard Eastwood, anaesthesia technician at Dick White Referrals which I joined in February 2007. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Animal Technicians. I've worked in the veterinary profession for 34 years; 7 years studying foetal endocrinology and then 27 years in anaesthesia.
My interests are in clinical anaesthesia, anaesthesia research and teaching final year veterinary students.
In my spare time I breed and show welsh mountain ponies which doesn't leave time for much else. I also keep Llamas, parrots, sheep and an assortment of chickens.
