We were very pleased to learn that, following a period of serving on the Examinations Committee, our Head of Soft Tissue Surgery Jackie Demetriou was elected to the Board of Regents for the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.
The Board is the executive body of ECVS. It directs and votes on all future policies. It therefore shapes the direction that the College will take, particularly with regard to standards, examinations and Residency Programs.
Jackie’s appointment is for a 3-year term and she is serving as one of 14 members from all over Europe.
