Senior Academy Administrator

Job Summary:

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator, who is passionate and conscientious, to join our team working in our busy on site Academy, where we train the next generation of veterinary nursing professionals, and really make a difference. The position will provide administrative support and services to the DWA Lecturing team with a specific focus on the needs of apprenticeships and ensuring compliancy with external bodies.

This is a full time position, however, we are able to consider part time applicants.

Successful Candidate:

As the Senior Academy Administrator, you will visit veterinary practices to complete the initial Apprenticeship/Employer process, so you will need to hold a full UK driving licence. You will ideally have an understanding of ESFA funding requirements and experience in ESFA data collection and returns, however, full training can be provided.

You will have a passion and drive for delivering outstanding results, be a strong communicator, with excellent attention to detail and work to the highest standards.  You will be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive working environment whilst also being able to use your initiative.  You will have the opportunity to support the Academy to grow to its full potential and in doing so, to develop yourself and progress your career and reach your full potential too.

You will hold A-level or Level 3 qualifications in relevant subjects.

 Job Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Nurse Lecturer, who is passionate and conscientious, to join the Lecturing Team for 3 days per week working in our busy Academy for a 12 month fixed-term. The position will involve planning and delivering learning activities, marking coursework, participating in other quality processes (eg visits to practices), acting as Personal Tutor and as a Course Director.

Successful Candidate:

You will be an RVN or MRCVS and have a passion and drive for teaching and delivering outstanding results. You will be enthusiastic, confident, articulate and work to the highest standards. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive working environment while being able to use your initiative. This position involves working 24 hours per week although we are able to consider part time applicants or job share.
