Job Title: Consultant in Diagnostic Imaging

Our Diagnostic Imaging department is excited to offer the opportunity of a full-time Radiology Consultant to join our busy, purpose-built hospital that is fully equipped with the surgical equipment and diagnostic facilities commensurate with a flagship specialist veterinary hospital, with emphasis on image acquisition in radiology, CT, and MRI. Please note, we may also consider a job share, for two part-time Radiology Consultants.

Our Diagnostic Imaging team consists of 8 board-certified Radiologists, 2 Fellows in Diagnostic Imaging, 3 Residents, 1 Intern and 5 Radiographers/Assistants. The on-site imaging facilities include radiography (DR), fluoroscopy, 2 ultrasound suites, 0.4T MRI, and 16-slice MDCT. A 64-slice CT and a 1.5T wide-bore MRI shall also be added in an entire new wing of the hospital expected later this year.

DWR has an excellent and varied caseload supported by Rotating Interns, Residents, certified Veterinary Nurses, Fellows and 49 Veterinary Specialists including the following specialties: anatomical pathology, anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, emergency and critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must be ACVR or ECVDI Board-Certified. Experienced candidates eligible to sit the qualifying examinations for these colleges will also be considered.
