Job Title: Anatomic Pathologist

Reports to: Head of Diagnostic Pathology
A board-certified Anatomic Pathologist (ECVP or ACVP Diplomate) is sought to join our diagnostic team of 7 boarded pathologists (2 anatomic and 5 clinical).
The laboratory serves our busy veterinary hospital, as well as receiving samples from throughout the UK, and has a strong reputation for quality and service. The laboratory has expanded in recent times and is a progressive dynamic working environment. The caseload consists largely of canine and feline samples and includes a high proportion of samples from referral hospitals including various specialties (eg oncology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology).
Responsibilities will include preparation of high-quality reports on histopathological findings, integrating other collected data (cytology, microbiology, etc), liaising with clients and advising the histology technical staff.
This post is for 4 days per week, with the potential to increase as work volume rises by mutual agreement.
