Daniel Housley



Daniel graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2011 – combining his veterinary degree with an intercalated BA programme focussed around genetics and embryological science. He worked in small animal practice for 2 years and developed an interest in diagnostic imaging. He joined DWR in May 2013 on a rotating intership programme and stayed with the practice as a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Intern for a further 6 months. In December 2014,he enrolled in the ECVDI Residency Programme to train as a Specialist Radiologist. Daniel has a particular interest in novel diagnostic imaging techniques such as elastography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. His research projects at DWR have focused on comparing the relative sensitivity of T2-weighted and short-tau inversion recovery MRI sequences in the detection of intervertebral disc extrusion in dogs.
