Elena graduated from the University of Bologna in 2007. She then undertook a series of externships in the UK before commencing her career as a clinician. In 2011 she completed a one-year rotating internship and she first joined DWR in 2014 to undertake a 3-year Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery. After gaining 2 further years’ experience in a referral centre, she returned to us as a Specialist in 2019.
