Laura joined DWR in 2014 with 12 years’ experience of referral practice. In 2003 she worked on a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation programme in South Africa, where she gained a lot of knowledge and experience. She passed her nursing qualification in 2007 and enjoys all aspects of emergency and critical care nursing. Laura is also a volunteer for a local animal charity where she hand-rears orphan kittens.
