Ruth Willis

Ruth trained at the University of Edinburgh and spent 2 years in general practice before undertaking a 3-year Residency in Cardiopulmonary Medicine at Glasgow Veterinary School. She attained the RCVS Certificate and Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology and was granted RCVS-Recognised status in 2002. Ruth is interested in many aspects of cardiology and respiratory medicine but her special interest is the diagnosis and treatment of cats and dogs with abnormal heart rhythms.  She has extensive experience of ambulatory heart monitor recording and analysis and has written a chapter on this subject for the BSAVA Manual. She is currently writing and co-editing The Guide to Feline and Canine Electrocardiography. Ruth is a member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association and has lectured at their meetings.
