About
After graduating from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Portugal in 2013, Catarina completed a rotating internship within the same institution, where she developed a special interest in ophthalmology. Following a few year in general practice in Portugal, she moved to the UK and undertook an ophthalmology internship before joining DWR Veterinary Specialists in July 2020. Catarina started a residency in Ophthalmology in May 2021. Outside of work Catarina enjoys travelling, reading and exploring the outdoors.
