We are seeking a highly motivated ECVDI/ACVR boarded radiologist to join our busy imaging department.
The clinician will be joining 4 other board-certified radiologists, supported by 3 ECVDI residents, 1 imaging intern, 2 human radiographers, 2 veterinary nurses and 2 veterinary assistants.
On-site imaging equipment includes: 2 DR Agfa systems, 2 iU22 Philips ultrasound machines, a 16-slice Philips CT, upgraded 0.4T Hitachi Aperto Lucent MRI, Philips C-arm fluoroscopy. A third ultrasound machine and a high-field MRI are planned for 2017.
The imaging department reports over 12,000 cases/year with a variety of caseload referred by 26 in-house specialists and their 30 residents and interns.
DWR is a busy state-of-the-art specialist small animal clinic with 5 operating theatres and 6 wards.The ethos of the practice is to be at the forefront of clinical practice, but also to train students and veterinary specialists. Career development is supported with encouragement to attend conferences, teach, conduct clinical research, attend regular journal clubs and daily imaging rounds.

Applicants will ideally be ACVR or ECVDI Board-Certified although experienced candidates eligible to sit the qualifying examinations for these colleges will also be considered. Preference will be given to a full-time position.
