Dick White Referrals

People Manager

We are currently seeking to recruit a new People Manager to work with our People and Communications Coordinator and the senior leadership team to drive forward a progressive and engaging people management programme that will ensure excellence in care for our expanding colleague team.

Dick White Referrals is one of the UK’s leading veterinary specialist centres that provides secondary and tertiary referral-only specialist veterinary care for dogs and cats across the south and east of England.  We believe passionately in caring for our colleagues, because we understand that happy, motivated and engaged people provide higher standards of care to our patients, their owners, our referring colleagues and each other. We strive to be excellent in everything that we do, and we recognise that developing deep levels of trust between each other and with our clients is paramount to our ongoing success.

In addition to being one of the busiest specialist veterinary hospitals in the UK, we run dedicated veterinary specialist training programmes through our approved intern and residency programmes, we have our own veterinary nurse training academy, a thriving commercial laboratory and we are an academic partner with the University of Nottingham, meaning we host final year veterinary students on rotation for most of the year.  We have over 300 colleagues working in dedicated purpose-built facilities with a further significant expansion of our buildings currently underway.
