Sam qualified at the Royal Veterinary College in 2022, having also completed an intercalated Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Pathology in 2019. He spent two years working across a 24-hour hospital and associated branch clinics in southeast London before undertaking a rotating internship back at the RVC’s Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. Sam joined DWR as a discipline-specific intern in Emergency and Critical Care in 2025 and hopes to pursue ECC residency training in the future.
