Fourteen years ago, when Dick and Christine White decided to set up a small animal veterinary referral practice, they had no idea that it would grow to
its current size. This practice is currently celebrating the major milestone of employing over 250 people.

Professor White established the practice with his wife Christine working as Receptionist, Administrator and Kennel Manager. With the help of one veterinary nurse – Tammy Robinson who is still with the practice – they opened their doors to the first patients in July 2003.

The state-of-the-art clinic now has exceptional facilities, including MRI and CT scanning on site, as well as a clinical pathology laboratory providing a rapid turn around of sample analysis.

To mark the milestone, Powters of Newmarket brought their retro airstream-style trailer to DWR so that all employees could enjoy a gourmet lunch of original Newmarket sausages.
