About
Joy graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011. Following some time in general practice she undertook a rotating internship at DWR Veterinary Specialists in 2015. Continuing to gain certificates in Emergency and Critical Care and Small Animal Surgery, Joy embarked on a surgical internship and ECVS surgical Residency at DWR Veterinary Specialists in 2018. Joy finishes her ECVS Residency in Small Animal Surgery in July 2022 and is delighted to be staying at DWR Veterinary Specialists as a residency trained surgeon. Joy divides her time at work between both the soft tissue and orthopaedic departments. Outside of work Joy enjoys walking her two dogs, riding her horses and baking cakes!
