Tom studied Biomedical Science at Sheffield Hallam University. Prior to joining DWR in 2020, Tom worked at the Clinical Reference Laboratory EU conducting multidisciplinary laboratory testing samples for clinical trials, and at the Haematology and Transfusion Laboratory of the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust. Tom is particularly interested in blood film morphology and transfusion science.
