About

After graduating in 2002 from the University of Pisa, Italy, she completed a Masters degree in Veterinary Anaesthesia and a post graduate specialisation in small animal disease. She then spent a short period of time in first opinion practice and then as an intern in a private referral practice. She completed a 3-year Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at UCD Dublin, Ireland. Since then she spent time as a Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the same University. She moved to the UK in 2016 where was a Clinical Anaesthetist at the Animal Health Trust.

Valentina is a members of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists. Her main interests are haemodynamic monitoring, pain management and ultrasound-guided loco-regional anaesthesia. She joined DWR in 2020.
