About

Angelo graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Naples in March 2009. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Veterinary and Comparative Oncology from the University of Pisa in June 2012, followed by a Specialist Degree in the Physiology of Reproduction in Domestic Animals from the University of Naples in December 2016.

While in Italy, from 2009 to 2018, he gained experience at two major referral centres in oncology. From March 2018 to October 2019, he completed two specialist internships in Oncology at Animal Health Trust and Dick White Referrals in the United Kingdom. Between 2019 and 2022, he undertook a residency programme in Veterinary Oncology at Dick White Referrals, achieving the title of diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Oncology (ECVIM-CA Oncology) in April 2023. In the same year, he was recognised as an EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Oncology and became a member of the examination board of the European College of Oncology.

Angelo’s fields of interest include non-surgical, locally ablative procedures (such as electrochemotherapy), immunology, and molecular targeted therapies. He has authored and co-authored several articles published in international journals and regularly participates as a speaker at international conferences and courses.
