Nic graduated from Bristol in 2007 and moved to Sri Lanka to work at the veterinary school in Perideniya for 6 months. This involved a mixed case load including dogs, cats and wild animals such as monkeys, turtles and elephants. In 2008, he returned to the UK to work in mixed practice in North Wales. He had a keen interest in veterinary clinical pathology and in April 2015 he started a Residency in Clinical Pathology at DWR’s Diagnostic Laboratory. In 2018, Nic became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and in 2019 he became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pathology.
